From the box: Summer was Never this Cool! The Summer's just gettin' started and already it's a Scorcher! Join the Party with all the Boyz as they Heat it up, Cool it down, and make it one you're sure to never forget! I come with: Sun-Cool swimming set! Beach-Day duds! Sunset Style outfit! Pair of Shoes! Sweatshirt! Tons of Summertime Accessories! Copyright year: 2003 Additional Notes: The Sun-Kissed-Summer line made its debut in the winter of 2003 and remained the only "premium" line of Bratz Boyz through August of 2004. The SKS Collection introduced a new mid-price point at $22 US which came in between the standard $15 for the Funk Out! line and the $30 price point established for the Formal Funk Boyz. The eyes on the SKS line were different from the standard look with brighter highlight colors in the pupils. The Boyz skin tones were slightly altered with warmer reds and yellows to give them their "Sun-Kissed" look. Each SKS boy came with a unique surfboard and either a musical instrument or beach accessory. New bare-feet were provided with each Boy as well as a seperate pair wearing beach sandals. Besides a pair of surfer boardshorts each SKS character came with two full outfits including a beach set with cargo shorts, T-shirt and sweatshirt as well as another complete outfit that included long-sleeved shirts and pants. For his SKS version, Cameron's hair was styled back in a similar fashion to his Formal Funk Edition but otherwise was identical to previous designs. The SKS line utilized a reverse trapezoid box with the wider dimension at the top instead of at the bottom as with the standard boxes. The top of the box included a simulated bamboo handle molded in plastic. The SKS line also introduced the new "movin' groovin' cool-lectible cards" which are lenticular image cards that shift between two images depending on the angle. MGAE dropped the use of posters (last seen in the NU-COOL Collection) for all future releases. The Bratz Boyz symbols were not included in this SKS line packaging but reappeared in the Funk Out! Collection. |
